Hello church family!

We’ve been having a great time in Faith Formation. The chapel is a wonderful space for the children to gather and sing and our teachers are loving and caring. During Lent, you’ll see the children in worship more. We are transitioning back to our former model just during the Lenten season. Children will be at the beginning of the worship services so they can experience the Lenten traditions of our church family. 

It seems like our Faith Formation classes keep growing. I recently had a church member ask me about what attendance has been like, so I spent some time reflecting on attendance from last year compared to this year. I found an increase of at least 16 young people. Our Pre-K-Kindergarten class has 8 children, our 1st-2nd grade class has 15 children, and our 3rd-5th grade class has 14 children. For our youth classes, the middle school class has 11 students, and the high school class has 13 students. Our bustling nursery has 17 little ones. Of course, not everyone is here every single Sunday, so it isn’t always easy to see just how many young people are active in our church family. I’m so grateful for all of our families and the tremendous support that our church shows to our young people. It’s a blessing to be part of such a lively and growing community. Thank you!
