Welcome to Lakewood Congregational Church

Welcome

In keeping with the spirit of our Mission Statement, Lakewood Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, is an Open and Affirming congregation. Wherever you are on life’s journey, we welcome you and all people of every sexual orientation, age, ability, gender identity and expression, and ethnic, economic, and racial background into the full life and ministry of our church. We declare this in the everlasting grace of the Still-Speaking God.

What do I wear?

Visitors are sometimes concerned about what to wear. LCC is not a formal church. Dress comfortably but respectful of other church-goers.

Location

Our Church is located on the northeast corner of West Clifton Blvd. and Detroit Avenue on the western side of Lakewood. We are also just a few minutes from Rocky River and Westlake.

Nursery

LCC has a paid Nursery Caregiver that watches children, infants-age 3, during worship. Parents/adults and teens also volunteer to help her each Sunday in the Nursery, playing with the children, rocking them, coloring with them, and even dancing and listening to music with them. Parents pick up their children from the nursery after worship services conclude.
