Happy Sunday, Church!!
We’re so glad to have Darren back with us to film and edit our service this week! So this week we return to our sanctuary, with special music from our Soprano Soloist, Naomi Columna, and a trumpet and organ fanfare for our postlude. Thanks, as always, to Ben Malkevitch for organizing our music each week.
Keep an eye out for our “connections” survey this week, for church members and friends to respond about how they’re feeling connected and how we might work to grow our connections in the months ahead. I’ll also post the survey here on the blog when it is ready.
Here is the Worship Service for this Sunday…

Breathing the Gospel Reflections from Karen Wagner. Our reflections have been exploring Parker Palmer’s book Healing the Heart of Democracy. It is a very timely book for right now. If you missed the previous weeks, you may find the information on LCC’s website under the blog tab, in the weekly reflections. Please purchase this book or borrow it from the library. This week, we are learning about the Fourth Habit of the Heart: A Sense of Voice and Agency. Breathing in the Realm of God.
Here’s our Video for the FIFTH and FINAL week of Compassion Camp/VBS
Our kids have been having so much fun! They are looking forward to sharing a couple of remote songs with us on Virtch on August 9th. In addition to the video posted here, the kids have also been doing Yoga videos and craft project videos with Ms. Jacqueline and a weekly Zoom meeting together. Rachel put all the videos into a Youtube playlist if you’d like to watch them all… no matter how old you are! Here is the playlist link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdz6IQJU6xzRSBWwhEzdCmS5E99-dO1Jn
Remember to keep an eye open for the survey! The August Columns will be coming out soon!
If you don’t already subscribe to The Columns, you can do that here towards the bottom of the page.
You can also see the July Columns in the Media section on our website.
